An Experienced Lawyer Protecting You Through Divorce
When you and your spouse got married — whether it was a year ago, five years ago or 40 years ago — you joined your lives together. As the years went on, you built a life together. Perhaps you purchased your first home as a married couple, had a child or several children, invested and experienced many major life moments together.
If you are now ready to move forward with a divorce, you know that your life together as a married couple is coming to an end. You will now need to disassemble this life — pull apart all of the pieces that made you one and go your separate ways. I am a divorce attorney who has served people in the Denver metro communities, including Littleton and Broomfield, for more than 30 years..
Call me today at 303-763-5286 to schedule a free initial consultation. When you contact the Law Firm of Ronald S. Dee, you will be put in touch with a lawyer who truly understands what you are going through and can advocate for your best interests.
Colorado Is A No-Fault Divorce State
Living in a no-fault divorce state such as Colorado simply means that, to get a divorce, you do not have to give a reason. In some states, you have to show that your spouse was cheating on you or abusing you, for example. In our state, if you want a divorce, you will get one, and you do not have to give a reason for the fault.
Help Finding Workable, Long-Term Solutions
Your divorce may be uncontested or contested. In an uncontested divorce, you and the other party are able to agree on the terms of your divorce, including where your child will live, how much financial support they will receive and other elements. In a contested divorce, you are unable to agree on the terms of the divorce.
However the divorce process takes shape for you, I will advocate for you in a manner that resolves all important decisions and establishes a future for you and your children. I can assist with:
- Child custody
- Child support
- Property division
- Spousal maintenance (alimony)
